GIEVA's partnership with HOBSONS International provides students with online educational resources for study in the United States. These online resources www.USeduguides.com provide links to some institutions in the U.S. It also provides other relevant information you will need to prepare for life in the United States as a student.
ACT’s mission is to help people achieve education and workplace success. ACT’s best known program is “the ACT”, a university-entrance exam used by all (and required by most) 4-year colleges and universities in the US for undergraduate admission and placement purposes. It is also used by universities throughout Canada, the UK, Australia, and many other countries. The ACT is part of the comprehensive College Readiness System. Also part of the College Readiness System are EXPLORE at grades 8-9, and PLAN at grade 10. Together these three exams measure student progress toward becoming prepared for university study. PLAN also serves as a
powerful predictor of performance on the ACT, which itself is a powerful predictor of college success. ACT's COMPASS tests are used by more than 1,100 colleges in the US to place incoming students at the appropriate level. ACT's website is www.act.org."
